What to include in a fabrication enquiry
The more of this arrives in the first email, the faster the quote comes back:
- Drawings or models — any format, any state of finish
- Material grades and quantities, if known
- Tolerances or standards the part must meet
- Destination country, so export requirements are priced in from the start
- If the design isn't finished — that's fine. Say what the machine has to do, and engineering picks it up from there.
